Description

A warm and soothing tea that combines peach and mint tea with honey and lemonade for a comforting sip.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag peach tea
  • 1 bag mint tea or green tea with mint
  • 3/4 cup hot water, just off a boil
  • 1/2 cup hot lemonade or 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice plus 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey, to taste
  • Optional: lemon slice, extra honey, or a sprig of mint for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat water. Bring water just to a whispering simmer, then take it off the heat.
  2. Warm the mug. Swirl a little hot water in your mug, then pour it out.
  3. Steep the teas. Add the peach and mint tea bags to the mug. Pour in 3/4 cup hot water and steep for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Add lemonade and honey. Stir in hot lemonade and 1 tablespoon honey. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  5. Finish and sip. Garnish with a lemon slice if desired. Enjoy your comforting drink!

Notes

For a stronger citrus note, add a splash more lemon at the end. If making for kids, dilute with extra water.
