Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch or arrowroot
- Neutral oil spray

- Pinch of salt
- Optional: Pinch of nutmeg or 1 teaspoon brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F for at least 3 minutes.
- Slice the apples into half-inch sticks and toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Dust the apple sticks with cornstarch, shaking off any excess.
- Spray a quick mist of neutral oil over the coated apple sticks.
- Add the apples to the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking halfway through for even cooking.
- When golden and tender, remove from the air fryer and toss immediately with cinnamon sugar and a pinch of salt.
